Student Passes
Affordable, convenient travel for students. Specialized transit passes like RydeFreeRT, Sacramento State OneCard, and the Los Rios Universal Transit Pass (UTP) are designed to make transportation accessible, affordable, and convenient for enrolled students.

RydeFreeRT
The RydeFreeRT program, a key initiative by SacRT, ensures that students from Transitional Kindergarten(TK) through 12th grade enjoy reliable fare free access to public transportation. This facilitates their journey to educational institutions and other activities without any financial burden.
Fare-Free Transit For Students, Youth
SacRT is breaking down barriers to education and opportunity, ensuring all youth in SacRT’s service area can reach their full potential.
A study released by the University of Texas, which evaluated SacRT RydeFreeRT fare-free transit for youth program, found the innovative program achieved multiple key goals to increase transit ridership and school attendance. View the study here.
