Discount (senior, disabled or student) monthly or semi-monthly stickers must be affixed to a valid SacRT photo ID, with the exception of the student stickers, which may be attached to a school issued photo ID.

Many students, in grades TK through 12, are eligible for free transit passes. Check with your school district for details or visit rydefreert Folsom-only riders between ages 55-61 may still purchase a discount Folsom monthly pass for $50. This pass is only valid on Folsom Transit Services routes. Separate regular price fare would be required to ride light rail or other SacRT bus routes.

Bus
Passengers are required to pay a basic or discount single fare for each trip or may purchase a daily pass valid for unlimited rides on that day.
Light Rail
Single ride tickets are valid for 90 minutes from time of validation on light rail only, or pay the 25 cent transfer fee when boarding a bus.
Connect Transit Card
Connect Card is the region's electronic transit fare payment system. You can now purchase your transit fare online, never have to carry exact change again AND use the card on more than one agency!

ZipPass App

Student Passes
SacRT offers fare-free transit for students in Transitional Kindergarten through 12th grade with the RydeFreeRT program and has a partnership with Los Rios and Sacramento State for college students to ride SacRT.
