Photo Identification Cards

SacRT photo ID cards cost $5 each and may be purchased by:
- Seniors age 62 and over (with written proof of age).
- Individuals with disabilities (with written proof of disability). A Medicare card is valid to purchase an SacRT Disabled photo ID card. Please see the Discount Fare section of this website or call (916) 321-2877 for a listing of documentation accepted by SacRT for individuals with disabilities.
- Students (grades K-12) must show proof of school enrollment or be accompanied by a parent or guardian to purchase an SacRT Student photo ID card. SacRT Student photo ID cards are good for three years. Student monthly pass stickers can be affixed to valid school-issued photo IDs or SacRT student photo ID card. Students may also purchase monthly passes using SacRT's mobile fare app, ZipPass.
