Recipients of CalFresh or SNAP are eligible to ride SacRT Flex, but must apply and register in advance. Parents or guardians of kids age 13 to 17 may also register their kids through the process below.
To apply, please upload a photo of your CalFresh Benefits Letter. Your letter must clearly show (1) your name, (2) your address, (3) that you are approved, and (4) the start and end dates of your benefits.
If you have lost your Benefits Letter, you may get a copy by visiting any local Department of Human Assistance office location.
Note: Spouses and partners must apply separately with their own letter in their own name.
Recipients of CalWorks or TANF are eligible to ride SacRT Flex, but must apply and register in advance.

Persons currently enrolled in Medi-Cal are eligible to ride SacRT Flex, but must apply and register in advance.
To apply, please upload a clear photo of your Medi-Cal Benefit Letter, including (1) your full name, (2) your address, and (3) an effective date within the last 12 months.
If you have lost your Medi-Cal Benefits Letter, you may get a copy by visiting in-person any local Department of Human Assistance office location.
When you submit your application, you will be sent an e-mail acknowledging that it was received. Your application will typically be reviewed within 1-2 weeks. You will then be sent an e-mail approving or denying your application.
If you are approved, then you will need to download the SacRT Flex app from the iTunes or Google Play store. When you first open the app, you will be asked for the phone number you used for this application, to complete your new account.
